UAL is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to join its Communications Department. The Social Media Manager is responsible for delivering engaging, inclusive and strategically aligned, audience‑first content across the University’s social media channels. You will help ensure we reach our audiences with impact and coherence, strengthen our brand and reputation, and support UAL’s ambition to be a global leader in creative education. In this role, you will lead, support and develop a team of five social media professionals, oversee content planning and publishing, and ensure consistent messaging across platforms. Working closely with the Head of Social Media and Digital Communications, and colleagues across Communications, Content, Marketing, PR and Media Relation, and our six Colleges and Institutes, you will help create brilliant content that engages our audiences and tells the story of UAL.

Requirements:
Substantial experience managing a social media team within a large or complex organisation
Strong knowledge of major platforms
Excellent communication skills
Ability to foster a culture of evaluation
Ability to identify opportunities and reputational risks
Ability to use data and evidence to inform decisions
