We are supporting a global drinks brand activating around a major international sports event, and they are looking for a Social Media Manager to join the team on a freelance basis. This role will suit someone confident running busy social channels day to day, managing both content and community in a fast-moving campaign environment. You’ll be working on a high-profile account with strong engagement, helping ensure social activity remains timely, culturally relevant and aligned with brand and regulatory guidelines.
Job Responsibility:
Own the day-to-day management of the brand’s Instagram account, posting multiple times per day and maintaining strong engagement
Lead content planning, scheduling and optimisation across the campaign period
Manage community engagement, moderation and tone of voice across comments and DMs
Work closely with creative and content teams to ensure social-first content is delivered and published effectively
React to live cultural and sporting moments where relevant to the campaign
Ensure all social activity aligns with brand, platform and regulatory guidelines
Requirements:
Proven experience working as a Social Media Executive or Social Media Manager
Direct experience working on alcohol brands and or sports-related projects
Strong understanding of Meta platforms and social best practice
Confident managing both content publishing and community engagement at scale
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-profile campaign environments
