A fast-growing American consumer health brand is expanding into the German market and looking for a talented Social Media Manager to lead their DACH social presence on a contract basis. You will take ownership of all social media platforms for the German market, adapting and localising content from global campaigns to ensure it resonates culturally with a German audience. This is a hands-on role covering content, data analysis, advertising performance and community management. Starting at 3 to 4 days per week, the role is expected to grow to full-time for the right person, with a permanent offer on the table for a successful candidate after the initial 6 month contract.
Job Responsibility
Managing all social media platforms for the German market
Localising global content — adapting messaging, tone and creative to suit German culture and consumer behaviour
Analysing trends, ad performance, impressions and engagement data to continuously improve results
Running paid social advertising and organic content in parallel
Requirements
Native German speaker with strong English
4+ years of B2C social media experience in Germany
Proven track record managing Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube
Strong analytical skills - comfortable with performance data and reporting
Hands-on short-form video content experience
Ability to work independently in a remote, cross-timezone environment
Nice to have
Experience in women's health, fertility, consumer healthcare or medical devices
Knowledge of German HWG advertising regulations
Experience adapting international brand content for the German market
