The Social Media Manager owns the day‑to‑day management and optimisation of Veygo’s social media presence across priority platforms. Working within the direction set by the Head of Social & Content, this role ensures content is published consistently, communities are actively managed, and performance is tracked to deliver social activity at pace and at scale. It’s a highly autonomous role suited to a proactive, creative self‑starter with a strong understanding of Gen Z and youth audiences.
Job Responsibility:
Execute social plans and content calendars across priority platforms
Publish and optimise content across TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Reddit
Make day‑to‑day judgement calls within agreed guardrails
Ensure content is delivered consistently and on time
Own day‑to‑day community management and moderation
Partner with Customer Service teams on product‑related queries
Build positive sentiment and engagement
Own the structure and day‑to‑day management of YouTube
Maintain channel hygiene, playlists and publishing cadence
Track performance and insights
Track performance and produce regular reports
Feed insights back into content execution
Track day‑to‑day content budgets and maintain budget trackers
Flag risks and issues early
Requirements:
Hands-on social media management experience across TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook
Strong understanding of Gen Z audiences
Nice to have:
Experience in regulated or high-consideration categories
Experience building community-led brands
What we offer:
