The Social Media Manager will play a vital role in supporting The Restaurant People’s portfolio of restaurant, nightlife, and hospitality brands through content creation, social media strategy, and digital storytelling.
Job Responsibility:
Manage social media content calendars across multiple brands
Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and leadership team to develop monthly campaign themes, seasonal initiatives, nightlife programming pushes, and social-first marketing concepts
Translate each brand’s voice, atmosphere, and guest experience into compelling social-first content
Plan content production in alignment with the marketing calendar
Develop shot lists and creative briefs for photoshoots and content days
Identify opportunities to differentiate brand positioning within the market
Stay informed on local competitors, emerging venues, hospitality trends, and social media trends
Brainstorm and propose unique activations, special offers, and social-first concepts
Collaborate with marketing leadership to develop ideas designed to drive reservations, guest engagement, foot traffic, and revenue
Identify opportunities to turn everyday moments into marketable experiences
Manage daily social engagement
Monitor tagged posts and stories
Engage proactively with relevant community pages, nightlife accounts, creators, and hospitality brands
Maintain brand standards and professionalism
Write engaging, on-brand captions
Apply proper hashtags, geotags, account tags, and formatting
Schedule and publish content across platforms
Maintain consistency in voice, storytelling, and visual presentation
Support influencer and creator initiatives
Maintain awareness of local influencers, creators, nightlife personalities, and hospitality trendsetters
Assist in identifying partnership opportunities
Monitor content performance and campaign effectiveness using analytics and social media reporting tools
Use performance insights to recommend improvements
Track engagement trends
Capture photo and video content on-site
Produce and edit high-performing content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Instagram Stories, static posts and carousels, and emerging social platforms
Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all content captured
Ensure all guest-facing moments are camera-ready and visually aligned with brand identity
Confidently direct talent, guests, staff, and influencers on camera
Provide quick creative direction in fast-paced nightlife and event environments
Adapt creatively during photoshoots and content captures
Stay current on trending audio, video formats, transitions, storytelling styles, and platform trends
Ensure all content maintains quality standards
Collaborate with graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and marketing partners
Direct and participate in photoshoots, video productions, campaign shoots, and live event coverage
Attend key events, activations, launches, nightlife programming, and high-volume service nights
Create and publish live Instagram Stories and social content during events
Provide real-time social coverage during DJ nights, influencer visits, special events, and promotional activations
Maintain flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed for events, photoshoots, launches, and marketing activations
Requirements:
3–5 years of experience managing social media for hospitality, restaurant, nightlife, or lifestyle brands, preferably across multiple concepts
Strong experience in mobile content creation and short-form video editing
Proficiency with social media editing tools and platforms including CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar software
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro preferred
Experience using social media management and scheduling platforms
Strong understanding of social media performance drivers including hooks, storytelling formats, trend cycles, engagement strategies, and nightlife content pacing
Exceptional organization, communication, and time management skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently work alongside managers, staff, entertainers, influencers, guests, and leadership teams
Ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and thrive in fast-paced hospitality and nightlife environments
Flexible schedule with availability for nights, weekends, and event coverage as needed
Nice to have:
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro
