Social Media Executive – Premier Inn. Ready to help shape the future of one of the UK’s most loved, most recognisable hospitality brands? This is your chance to take the lead in driving Premier Inn’s organic social presence during one of the most exciting periods of evolution for our brand. We’re investing, changing, growing and we’re looking for a Social Media Executive who’s brimming with ideas, confident in their craft, and ready to make a significant impact.

Job Responsibility:

  • Steer the organic social media strategy for Premier Inn UK
  • Oversee content creation and approvals across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook
  • Be a key voice in advising wider Whitbread teams on social strategy and content
  • Confidently manage our external social media agency
  • Build strong working relationships with the Brand Marketing team, PR, eCRM, Insight, Customer Contact Centre, Brand Studio, and more
  • Work closely with our Senior Brand Marketing Manager to bring integrated campaigns to life across social
  • Spot trends, reactive opportunities and cultural moments that Premier Inn should be part of
  • Review analytics, insights, platform updates and competitor activity to continuously evolve our approach
  • Lead influencer and content‑creator activity, ensuring brand‑safe, authentic and engaging partnerships

Requirements:

  • Hands‑on Social Media experience for a major Business to Consumer (B2C) brand OR experience from a recognised Social Agency
  • Strong grasp of TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, including trends, formats and platform nuance
  • Confident experience working with (and ideally managing) external agencies
  • Evidence of creating or shaping thumb‑stopping social content and campaigns
  • Ability to act as a brand guardian across organic social channels, ensuring tone, guidelines, safety and compliance are upheld
  • Creatively confident and culturally curious
  • Highly organised, detail‑driven and able to juggle multiple projects
  • Comfortable influencing a range of stakeholders
  • Data‑savvy: able to interpret insights and apply them to creative outputs
  • A positive, proactive, “let’s make this happen” mindset
