Job Description

We're hiring a Social Media Coordinator to run our Indonesian-language Telegram channel and X account - adapting our global content for the local market, building an engaged community, and giving Indonesian players a brand that speaks their language. This is an execution-focused role. Our global team produces the strategy, content frameworks, and campaigns, you'll bring them to life in Bahasa Indonesia with the cultural fluency and local instinct that translation alone can't replicate. You'll be supported by a senior team and given clear direction, but we're looking for someone who can own their channels day-to-day with confidence.

Job Responsibility

  • Run our Indonesian Telegram channel end-to-end: daily posting, scheduling, community engagement, and moderation.
  • Manage our Indonesian X account: adapting global content, posting in real time around live moments, and engaging with the local community.
  • Translate and adapt global campaigns, promos, and announcements into Bahasa Indonesia — keeping the spirit of the content while making it land locally.
  • Write social copy that sounds like a real Indonesian person wrote it, not a translation tool.
  • Cover Indonesian peak social hours (evenings WIB) and respond to community messages and comments promptly.
  • Flag local cultural moments, sports events (Liga 1, EPL fandom, big derbies), and esports moments (Mobile Legends, PUBG Mobile, Free Fire) where we should be showing up.
  • Report basic performance metrics weekly - follower growth, engagement, what's working and what isn't.
  • Work with our global team on KOL and creator partnerships in the Indonesian market.
  • Help us understand the local audience: what they care about, what competitors are doing well, and what they're saying about us.

Requirements

  • Native fluency in Bahasa Indonesia. You write in Bahasa the way Indonesians actually speak - not formal, not translated, but real.
  • Professional working English. Enough to take direction from a non-Indonesian-speaking team and report clearly on your work.
  • 1-2 years in social media, content, or community management - agency, in-house, or freelance.
  • You are an active, daily user of Telegram and X. You can tell us which Indonesian channels and accounts you follow and why.
  • Strong instinct for social tone - copywriting that reads as natural, not corporate.
  • Deep familiarity with Indonesian internet culture: memes, slang, the moments that get people talking.
  • Comfortable working in the iGaming and crypto category,
  • Available during peak Indonesian social hours.
  • Reliable home setup for fully remote work.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in iGaming, crypto, esports, sports betting, or fintech.
  • Familiarity with Telegram channel administration, bots, and moderation tools.
  • Experience working with KOLs, streamers, or local creators.
  • A personal network in the Indonesian gaming, crypto, or sports betting community.
  • Understanding of Indonesian football fandom and esports scenes beyond a casual level.
