At Lomond, we're looking for a creative and highly organised Social Media Assistant to join our growing marketing team. You'll work closely with our Social Media & Content Marketing Manager and videography team to help deliver an exciting social media strategy across 12 brands. As the UK’s leading group of estate agents, we operate in a fast-paced and evolving industry, offering plenty of opportunities to innovate and rethink how social media is used in the property sector. Job Responsibility:
Creating and scheduling a full calendar of engaging posts across our social media channels each week
Collaborating with and briefing videographers on content ideas and social campaigns
Managing direct messages and comments (community management), and maintaining our SmartLink profiles
Producing monthly performance reports for the Communications team using insights from platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn
Engaging with internal stakeholders and coordinating monthly videography meetings
Identifying new opportunities to grow our online presence and stay ahead of competitors
Supporting the rollout of wider marketing campaigns throughout the year
Managing social media calendars to ensure consistent and strategic posting
Maintaining each brand's unique tone of voice across their social channels
Contributing to the development of our paid social media strategy and supporting the execution and optimisation of paid campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
Requirements:
Proven experience managing social media accounts across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube
Experience using scheduling tools such as Hootsuite or similar platforms
The ability to capture, edit and enhance photo and video content for social media
Confidence using tools like Canva and editing content within Instagram Reels and TikTok
A genuine passion for social media trends, content creation, and digital storytelling
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write engaging social captions
Excellent organisation and time management skills, including managing inboxes and social media calendars
A creative mindset with the confidence to contribute fresh ideas to our social strategy
An analytical mindset, familiar with social media analytics and are confident with optimisation, testing and learning
Strong customer service skills when responding to enquiries via comments and direct messages
A positive, team player attitude and confident with collaborating with stakeholders and internal teams across the organisation to handle briefs and deliver the best results
