Job Description

I’m partnering with a fast-growing ad tech platform to hire a Social and Content Manager. This platform works with thousands of creators across the UK, setting new standards in short-form video content. With rapid growth in the market, this role offers the chance to own and execute social media strategy, produce viral content, and engage directly with a large creator network. This role is ideal for someone proactive, creative, and hands-on, with the confidence to take ownership of campaigns from concept through execution, while shaping how the brand connects with its audience across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and execute the UK social media content strategy for the ad tech platform across TikTok, Reels, and Shorts
  • Shoot, edit, and optionally present short-form videos that educate, inspire, and engage the creator community
  • Translate text briefs into exciting video content, demonstrating exactly what creators need to produce
  • Identify and leverage trending audio and visual trends to maximise reach
  • Respond to creator questions and feedback through video replies and comment interactions
  • Track engagement, views, and retention metrics to optimise future content
  • Analyse high-performing videos and refine scripts, formats, and styles accordingly
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and brand teams to align content with business objectives
  • Bring creative ideas forward to improve processes and elevate content quality

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media strategy and management and short-form content creation
  • Strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Reels, and Shorts, including trends, culture, and algorithms
  • Hands-on video production and editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar)
  • Confident on-camera presence and clear, engaging storytelling
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, creative environment
  • Data-driven and growth-focused, with a strong understanding of engagement metrics
  • Proactive, resourceful, and self-motivated
