We’re looking for a Social Media Account Manager to join our growing team. We’re not looking for someone to schedule posts, create graphics, or spend their days writing captions. We’re looking for the brains behind the strategy. The person who can look at a business, product, or service and instantly identify opportunities, angles, campaigns, and content ideas that nobody else has thought of. You are naturally creative, commercially minded, and deeply strategic. You understand human behaviour, marketing psychology, content trends, and how to turn attention into revenue. AKA you know how to go viral baby! Working across a diverse portfolio of clients including builders, hairdressers, eCommerce brands, service providers, and everything in between, you’ll be responsible for developing audience-led content and marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, enquiries, bookings, and sales. You will act as the central point of contact between our clients and execution team, ensuring every strategy is communicated clearly, every deliverable is approved to a high standard, and every account moves forward seamlessly.
Job Responsibility
Leading client onboarding calls and strategy sessions
Acting as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
Developing high-level content and marketing strategies
Creating campaign concepts and audience-led content plans
Reviewing content created by the execution team and providing strategic feedback
Ensuring all deliverables are aligned with client goals and brand positioning
Delivering monthly reporting and strategic recommendations
Identifying growth opportunities across client accounts
Maintaining strong client relationships and communication
Collaborating directly with Emma, our Director, on account strategy and business growth initiatives
Requirements
Minimum 3+ years experience in content strategy, marketing strategy, social media strategy, or a similar senior role
Exceptional creative thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to think beyond trends and create innovative campaigns that cut through the noise
Strong understanding of organic social media marketing. Can talk REAL algorithm talk!
Knowledge of Meta Ads and paid social strategy (execution not required)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience managing client relationships
Strong project management and organisational skills
Ability to confidently lead conversations and provide strategic recommendations
Commercial awareness and an understanding of how marketing impacts business growth
Ability to review content and provide expert-level feedback and direction
