A highly respected Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners UK ranked firm, based in the heart of the City of London, is looking to appoint three Social Housing Solicitors to join its nationally recognised housing department. Known for its commitment to access to justice and client care, this award-winning firm offers the successful Social Housing Solicitor an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and progressive environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Handling housing cases involving homelessness, disrepair, possession, and neighbour disputes
  • Representing clients at all levels of court, including the Higher Courts
  • Supervising and supporting trainees and caseworkers
  • Conducting your own advocacy and participating in the Housing Court Duty Scheme
  • Ensuring accurate time recording, file management, and compliance with legal standards

Requirements

  • A valid Practising Certificate
  • Solid experience in housing law, including legal aid and private client matters
  • The ability to supervise and mentor junior team members
  • Strong advocacy, communication, and client care skills
  • A proactive and professional approach to your work
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills
