Requirements:

  • Build positive relationships with the residents, and their families, developing an understanding of their interests and abilities
  • Organise activity programmes based on residents' interests, to maximise wellbeing, independence and social engagement
  • Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the activities and engagement opportunities on offer, and maintain accurate electronic resident records
  • Be able to produce newsletters and posters, and update social media to promote the home
  • Build and maintain links with the wider community
  • Be an effective team member, working in collaboration but also able to work independently
