Job Description:

Social, Emotional, Mental Health Support Assistant position at an Ofsted rated 'good' school in Greenwich. Full-time, long-term roles for the entire academic year, perfect for someone wanting to gain first-hand experience working with healthcare professionals and pupils with complex needs.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting children with a wide range of SEN
Acting as a buddy
Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis with any issues they may have
Working closely with healthcare professionals, parents and other members of staff
1:1 group support sessions and workshops

Requirements:

Experience working with children with SEN
Ability to work as a buddy
Capability to work with pupils on a 1:1 basis
Willingness to work closely with healthcare professionals, parents and staff

Nice to have:

Interest in becoming a therapist, psychologist, or mental health worker
Ability to inspire and motivate pupils
