Job Description:

EdEx is working with a leading secondary school in Barnet to hire Behavior Mentors for a September 2025 start. This school is a specialist SEMH institution offering opportunities for professional development in a supportive school environment. The role focuses on assisting students with SEMH needs, who may face self-esteem and confidence challenges. This position is an onsite, full-time, long-term contract from September 2025 to July 2026.

Job Responsibility:

Support students who need specialist SEMH assistance
Work in a small school setting
Be confident and supportive to help students succeed
Help address self-esteem and confidence issues
Create a welcoming and inclusive environment

Requirements:

Aspiring Psychologists
Aspiring Mental Health Practitioners
Aspiring Children Well-Being Practitioners
Aspiring Social Workers
Experienced Behaviour Mentors
Confident, firm, but fair and supportive nature

Nice to have:

Experience with SEMH students
Community-minded attitude
Familiarity with Music, Sports, Arts in educational settings
