We are looking for a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Littlehampton, supporting primary and secondary aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Job Responsibility
Supporting pupils with SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Assisting with classroom activities and structured routines
Building strong, positive relationships with pupils
Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour management
Encouraging engagement, confidence and independence
Responding to challenging behaviour in a calm, consistent and proactive manner
Working closely with teachers and the wider support team
Requirements
Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, SEND or behavioural needs (school or care background)
