Job Description

As a Social Content Editor at Marella Cruises, you'll lead the creation of engaging, relevant and on-brand content across social platforms, owning the creative engine behind our social channels and bringing Marella to life through compelling storytelling.

Job Responsibility

  • You'll develop and deliver platform-specific content strategies that support brand and marketing objectives
  • You'll lead social content productions from ideation through to delivery
  • You'll edit video and stills content for use across digital channels
  • You'll develop and maintain social content guidelines aligned to Marella's wider brand standards
  • You'll support teams across the cruise business with ad hoc content needs and manage relationships with external partners
  • You'll champion a test-and-learn mindset, experimenting with new formats to drive engagement and growth across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook

Requirements

  • You have experience managing social content production within a brand or agency environment with excellent creative judgement and confidence to brief and direct external partners
  • You possess expert skills in Adobe Premiere and Photoshop, with experience across Creative Cloud applications (After Effects and grading tools a plus)
  • You demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of platform behaviours and trends, particularly TikTok, Instagram and Facebook
  • You have excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • You are methodical, work well under pressure, and can adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment
  • You show a confident, clear communication style, comfortable leading brainstorms, presenting creative ideas and influencing decisions with a passion for creating social-first content
