As a Social Content Creator, you will play a crucial role in making our music and tools a part of social conversations and cultural moments. Your role will be to lead our social content strategy by translating our core assets—music, soundtracks, and tools—into content that authentically participates in global culture. This role is critical to shifting our brand from traditional marketing to cultural participation, with success measured by how organically our music and tools are used and remixed by creators, moving beyond direct channel promotion. You will directly contribute to the organization's goals by identifying and leveraging viral trends to significantly amplify our community engagement and brand relevance across major short-form video platforms. This is a brand-new role within the team, offering a significant opportunity to shape our approach to social content and cultural participation from the ground up.
Job Responsibility:
Identify emerging social trends, creator behaviors, and remix opportunities relevant to our brand and products
Produce platform-native, shareable content for key channels, including TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
Build and maintain relationships with creators to drive organic amplification and feature our content in unique, creative ways
Analyze and report on social performance metrics, such as cultural impact, engagement, and creator amplification, to provide actionable insights to other teams
Requirements:
Proven professional experience in short-form video content creation on-camera and behind the camera
Strong and nuanced understanding of major platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, including their trends and storytelling formats
Expertise with professional video editing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or After Effects) and basic design tools (e.g., Canva or Figma)
Deep cultural fluency and demonstrable knowledge of current social trends, memes, and music/creator culture
Nice to have:
Experience with social analytics, including tracking reach, engagement, and creator amplification metrics
A keen awareness of audio and music and how to use soundtracks creatively for maximum content impact
Strong storytelling and copywriting skills for developing culturally relevant and highly shareable concepts and captions
