Job Description

Meta is looking for an experienced Social Communications Manager to lead its social media strategy in Brazil, designing and delivering creative and effective social campaigns that build the company's brands and support our communications work. We’re looking for someone with a demonstrated understanding of Brazil’s social media landscape and a track record of delivering and measuring campaigns—primarily organic, but not exclusively—for high-profile brands or consumer products. The Social Communications Manager will consistently operate on their own initiative, collaborate effectively, navigate ambiguity, and find ways around blockers or barriers. The role is based in Sao Paulo and will report to the Director of Communications, Brazil.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and deliver locally resonant social strategy and campaigns that are driven by audience insights and advance our Communications objectives
  • Coordinate Meta's owned social channels in the Brazil
  • Uses AI tools to automate workflows, and maximize impact and productivity
  • Set goals and metrics to gauge the efficiency of our work, using data to evolve our strategy
  • Build relationships and collaborate cross-functionally with other teams in Brazil and globally to align on priorities and develop long-term strategic plans
  • Manage external agency teams and vendors

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in social media, marketing or a related field
  • Proven track-record leading social media strategies for high-profile brands or consumer products in Brazil, either in-house or agency
  • Expertise in developing, delivering and measuring social media campaigns with clear and quantifiable ROI
  • Experience creating content that drives organic engagement
  • Experience working with creators
  • Understanding of Brazil's social media landscape and consumer trends
