Social Care Support Worker

• Promote independence, dignity and well being of service users who have a variety of additional needs
• Making a positive difference in the lives of those you are supporting, helping them with daily tasks, personal care, medication administration and being generally supportive to the service users
• Keep records up to date with accurate information
• Work well with others and communicate with wider teams to ensure the highest standard of care is provided

• Experience working with people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour
• Compassionate and caring towards others with a desire to help people
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team liaising with wider teams
• Ability to work under pressure and stay calm in stressful situations
• Strong ability to work independently and use own initiative
• SVQ2 in Health and Social Care or HNC in Social Care (Desirable)
• Full UK Driving License and access to vehicle (Essential)
• Minimum of 1 year UK experience in a similar role
• Right to work in the UK
