Job Responsibility

  • Deliver compassionate day-to-day care and mentorship to vulnerable children and young people
  • Manage complex emotional, learning, and behavioural challenges with patience, de-escalation skills, and empathy
  • Actively protect and promote the safety and overall well-being of the individuals in your care
  • Partner seamlessly with an internal multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care plans are met
  • Keep precise records and maintain proactive, transparent communication with families, colleagues, and external agencies

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of paid experience in a UK childcare or youth support setting
  • Direct experience supporting youth facing emotional, behavioural, or learning difficulties (including challenging behaviour)
  • A current Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
  • Valid Right to Work in the UK
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-moving environment
