Job Responsibility
Deliver compassionate day-to-day care and mentorship to vulnerable children and young people
Manage complex emotional, learning, and behavioural challenges with patience, de-escalation skills, and empathy
Actively protect and promote the safety and overall well-being of the individuals in your care
Partner seamlessly with an internal multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care plans are met
Keep precise records and maintain proactive, transparent communication with families, colleagues, and external agencies
Requirements
At least 6 months of paid experience in a UK childcare or youth support setting
Direct experience supporting youth facing emotional, behavioural, or learning difficulties (including challenging behaviour)
A current Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
Valid Right to Work in the UK
Full UK Driving License
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to adapt to a fast-moving environment
