Communicare is looking for an empathetic, patient and dependable Social Care Assistant who has a genuine passion for helping people and a commitment to providing high-quality, community based care. We provide individualised and person-centred disability services. The goal of our disabilities team is to maximise the independence of our clients while supporting their physical, emotional and social needs.

Job Responsibility:

Support our clients in daily tasks such as personal care, light housekeeping, food preparation
Provide companionship and support with social activities
Work to promote the health and well-being of clients
Record keeping and contribution to care planning
Safeguarding support, promote autonomy and life skills

Requirements:

FETAC/QQI Level 5 in Social Care or Healthcare
Two written references
Understanding of HIQA standards and regulations
CPR & Patient Moving and Handling Certificates
Full driving license and access to a car is a distinct advantage
Must be eligible to work in Ireland at the time of applying
