Job Description

We are seeking a Snowflake Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our Snowflake data platform. The role focuses on performance tuning, security, user management, cost optimization, and supporting data engineering and analytics teams to ensure a reliable and scalable cloud data environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Administer and support Snowflake data warehouse environments
  • Manage users, roles, privileges, and security policies
  • Monitor system performance, query optimization, and resource usage
  • Perform cost management and usage optimization
  • Handle data sharing, replication, and failover strategies
  • Support data ingestion, pipelines, and integrations with upstream/downstream systems
  • Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide production support
  • Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and BI teams
  • Maintain documentation and follow data governance standards

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Administration
  • Solid understanding of Snowflake architecture (warehouses, databases, schemas)
  • Experience with role-based access control (RBAC) and security
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Experience monitoring and tuning Snowflake performance
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools and data pipelines
  • Experience working in Agile environments
