We are looking for an experienced SNF Billing Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role involves managing skilled nursing facility billing processes with precision and efficiency. The position is based in Kansas City, Missouri, and offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Handle billing processes for skilled nursing facilities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Review and submit medical claims through electronic systems, including Epaces, to secure timely reimbursements
  • Manage collections and resolve outstanding balances while maintaining strong communication with insurance companies
  • Utilize medical coding expertise to ensure claims are correctly categorized and processed
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation for all billing activities
  • Analyze billing data using Excel formulas to identify trends and discrepancies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address billing issues and optimize workflows
  • Keep up-to-date with industry standards and changes in billing practices
  • Provide support in resolving billing disputes and appeals
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of patient and financial information

Requirements:
