Job Description:

Manages food and beverage service in the snack bar and/or halfway house outlets. Provides informal fast food services. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation according to company standards. Supervises staff, orders supplies and implements controls to ensure that budgeted food, labor, supplies and other costs are achieved.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide food and beverage service in accordance with the menu and company quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, and production, storeroom, service and other areas
  • Supervise staff to assure highest productivity, service and conduct
  • Maintain accurate payroll time records and reports
  • Ensure that required income and cost control procedures are consistently used
  • Requisition supplies from club’s kitchen and storeroom, and ensure proper transfer and storage
  • Provide adequate display of garnishes and condiments on “self-serve” basis
  • Comply with applicable health, alcoholic beverage, fire and other laws/requirements
  • Inspect club facility to ensure that sanitation, safety, energy management, preventive maintenance and other programs are in place in area(s) of responsibility
  • Develop outlet budget and monitor to ensure that financial goals are attained
  • Assist with the production and service of food and beverage products as necessary
  • Manage employment activities for applicable staff members, including but not limited to, personnel recruitment and selection, performance evaluations, training, compensation, discipline and termination, etc
  • Assure the efficient and timely submission of all required operational, financial, budgetary and related reports
  • Perform other duties as appropriate

Requirements:

  • High school required
  • College degree preferred
  • 2 years applicable functional, supervisory and/or management experience, preferably in the golf industry
  • Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision
  • work flexible hours as required including evenings/weekends
  • Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations

Nice to have:

  • College degree
  • Experience in the golf industry
