Job Responsibility

  • Greet customers and take food and beverage orders
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system
  • Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and provide change as necessary
  • Maintain a clean and organized cashier station
  • Answer customer questions regarding the menu, prices, and specials
  • Ensure all payments are processed correctly and provide receipts
  • Confirm that all items in an order have been properly prepared before they are served to the customer
  • Verify that food is prepared to specifications and meets quality standards
  • Coordinate with the grill/line cook to ensure food items are ready in a timely manner
  • Ensure that all food items are presented in an appetizing and professional manner
  • Double-check orders for accuracy and ensure that any special requests are fulfilled
  • Manage the food ticket system to ensure quick and efficient service
  • Work the grill and deep fryer to prepare hot food items according to recipes and customer specifications

  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to operate POS systems and handle cash transactions accurately
