The Snack Bar/Concessions Supervisor is responsible for overall supervision and administration of the general food service operation as relate to customer service, personnel, and operating procedures, in addition maintaining compliance with Oklahoma State Health Department requirements for cleanliness, hygiene, and food storage and production. He or she also ensures that all guidelines are followed in accordance with gaming regulations, as pursuant to the (NIGC) Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS), State Gaming Compact and all Policy and Procedure, Tribal Internal Controls Standards (TICS). It is also important that the food/bar services supervisor respect the mission and objectives of the Otoe-Missouria Tribe and the Otoe-Missouria Development Authority (OMDA).
Job Responsibility:
Supervise and administer general food service operation
Maintain compliance with Oklahoma State Health Department requirements for cleanliness, hygiene, food storage, and production
Ensure guidelines are followed per gaming regulations (NIGC MICS, State Gaming Compact, Policy and Procedure, TICS)
Respect mission of Otoe-Missouria Tribe and OMDA
Recommend aspects of operations concerning food services
Assist in training and coordination of staff
Assist in maintaining standards required by state and federal bodies
Assist with training of FOH and BOH staff
Monitor employee development and overtime
Maintain standards of staff performance
Foster customer-centered service environment
Assist with maintaining departmental budgets
Keep appropriate personnel, regulatory, and financial records
Handle and report customer complaints
Work both front and back of operation
Develop and implement work schedules and performance standards
Remain alert to unusual or questionable activity
Ensure functions are maintained in a professional manner
Monitor department activities to ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and controls
Ensure staff understand and comply with regulatory requirements
Perform duties in accordance with company handbook, tribal objectives, policies, and regulations

Provide leadership direction
Ensure qualified Team Members are recruited and retained
Responsible for selection, training, and performance of assigned staff
Visit workspaces to be available to staff
Ensure staff are aware of standards and expectations

Evaluate means and methods of operations for efficiency

Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age
High school diploma or GED (Associate's degree preferred)
3 to 5 years of experience in food services and personnel management (comparable combination considered)
Casino experience preferred
Customer Service and Communications experience required
Prior management/supervisory experience required
Must be punctual and dependable
Knowledge, skills, and experience in hiring, training, scheduling, supervision, communications, decision making, problem solving, complaint resolution, and resource allocation
Read, write, and speak English
Protect company confidentiality
Follow written and verbal instructions
Establish and maintain positive relationships
Work well alone or within a team
Prepare written reports and correspondence
Utilize MS Office products at basic to intermediate skill level
