Smt operator

• Sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic SMT machines used in the production of the company's product
• Works from specific drawings, procedures and process documentation to perform production tasks
• Pays attention to process controls and process inputs as required to monitor product quality, including Statistical Process Control, process improvements and line optimization as they relate to the SMT process
• Conducts product inspection according to specific procedures
• Uses PC-based software tools for setups, maintains component and machine specific databases as new devices and shape codes are introduced
• Interfaces with Engineering and other support groups with regard to line problems and process improvements
• Follows all Company Safety and ESD Program requirements. Responsible to report all accidents, near misses, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions
• Properly handles and disposes all waste, including hazardous wastes that are generated in daily operations as directed by applicable SOP(s)
• Other duties as assigned

• High School or equivalent
• 1-2 years equivalent experience
• SMT Operator experience preferred
• Knowledge of PCB handling, ESD practices, and IPC-610 standards
