Job Description:

We are currently searching for a SMP QC Inspector to join our Karratha-based team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Inspect and verify the quality of SMP works and construction processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
  • Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accuracy and feasibility of construction methods
  • Conduct regular site inspections and tests on workmanship to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards
  • Document and report on quality issues, including any non-compliance, defects, or deviations from standards, and work with the project team to resolve them
  • Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and engineers to ensure that all corrective actions are implemented and issues are addressed promptly

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, a relevant field, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience (7+ years) as a Quality Control Inspector in SM
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality control procedures
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools, measuring instruments, and relevant software
