Job Responsibility:

  • Considered an emerging authority, who applies extensive technical expertise
  • Develops technical solutions to complex problems
  • Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment
  • Conducts logical analysis of management problems and developing multivariate analysis, linear modeling, and data mining
  • Uses computer technology, computer modeling, spreadsheet applications, software tools, and programming languages
  • Analyses data and conducts advanced statistical analyses and applies mathematical calculations
  • Presents findings and recommendations to appropriate groups and helps to determine what actionable steps can be taken based on the findings
  • Communicates and trains users on model results
  • Prepares written, non-technical reports to management, indicating analytical finding and models
  • May supervise more junior staff and schedule work to meet completion dates

Requirements:

  • Experience using scripting languages for data analysis and visualization (e.g, Phyton, MATLAB)
  • Knowledge of integrating unit testing into continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Knowledge of creating and configuring Linux system images, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
