Vodafone Portugal is seeking a visionary and execution-oriented SME AI to drive the company’s Artificial Intelligence strategy and adoption journey. This role will be responsible for identifying, developing, and scaling AI initiatives that drive business growth, operational efficiency, customer experience, and innovation across the organization.
Job Responsibility
Execute Vodafone Portugal’s AI strategy and roadmap
Prioritizing high-value use cases across all business areas
Ensuring compliance, security, and responsible AI adoption
Partner with business and technology leaders to accelerate AI-driven transformation
Evaluate emerging AI technologies and manage strategic partnerships
Requirements
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree or technical institute certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field
Proven leadership experience in AI, Data, Technology, or Digital Transformation
Strong knowledge of Generative AI, Machine Learning, Data Platforms, and Cloud technologies
Experience delivering large-scale transformation programs and measurable business outcomes
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Telecom industry experience is a plus
AI embedded into core business processes and decision-making
Tangible improvements in customer experience, productivity, and business performance
A scalable AI operating model with strong governance and adoption across Vodafone Portugal
English and Portuguese (Fluency)
