As a Publisher Account Manager for Japan and SEA Markets – Japan Market on the SMB Publisher team in our Bangkok office, you’ll play a vital role in responsibly managing relationships with Japanese publishers from the successful implementation and launch of the Taboola content discovery platform to tracking performance and providing regular strategic direction for new opportunities to improve performance.
Job Responsibility
Manage and grow relationships with premium publisher clients and strategic partners
Understand the organisation’s business needs and develop relationships at all levels
Monitor and analyse metrics and proactively take steps to improve results
Be an expert in Taboola’s platform and the benefits publishers gain by using it
Fully comprehend the technology, revenue ecosystem and client needs/requirements in order to intelligently identify new opportunities and upsell the platform
Work closely with the Publisher Sales teams as well as the remote R&D department in order to become a valuable resource and single point of contact to the client
Communicate business intelligence from clients to the product management team in regards to new product development features
Strategically support the Publisher Sales team in pre-sale proposal development
Requirements
3+ years of professional client-facing experience in the digital media / online publisher space
Outstanding relationship management and customer service skills
Native Japanese communication skills with strong English communication skills
Experience working with native / display advertising preferred
Strong critical thinking skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage tasks within a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate within a high-performing team
Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity
Eye to identify upsell opportunities, articulate and present value propositions, drive successful deal closures, oversee successful product implementation, and track and report on performance outcomes
