Uber Eats is looking for a Business Leader and Account Manager to drive business growth and innovation by acting as a trusted advisor to SMB restaurants in Japan. This key role within the SMB business involves managing the end-to-end experience of a crucial segment of restaurant partners. A successful candidate should possess strong relationship-building skills, an ability to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities and a mix of customer focused thinking, critical thinking, strategy development, sales expertise, operational excellence, and leadership. The role requires a highly adaptable individual capable of balancing long-term strategic initiatives with short-term tactical actions in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with restaurant partners
Understand restaurant partners' wants and needs and provide appropriate supports
Identify restaurant partners’ issues quickly and provide the necessary resources and support to resolve them with the data driven mindset
Work with manager and the leadership team to build the future of the SMB function in Japan
Collaborate with other internal departments (operations, marketing, customer support, etc.) to resolve issues
Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales quotas
Requirements:
Native/Fluent Japanese
Can read and write English with no hesitation
Ideally at least 3 years of Sales or Account Management experience in a high-growth company, with strong solution selling skills
Ability to make decisions based on data analysis and performance monitoring
Energetic, has willingness to make the local society better
Nice to have:
Extended network and prior experience in Japan’s restaurant industry
Understanding of SaaS products, Internet Advertisement and marketplace ecosystem
Project management experience with XFN stakeholders
