As a SMB Account Executive (AE), you will play a crucial role in accelerating our growth within the small and medium-sized business (SMB) segment. Your role will be to own the full sales cycle, from pipeline generation to closing new commercial subscriptions, directly impacting the adoption of Epidemic Sound by content creators and businesses worldwide. We’re rapidly expanding in the SMB segment and are looking for Account Executives who can run a fast, high-volume sales process. You own the full cycle: handling inbound leads, driving outbound outreach, running crisp demos, and closing new commercial subscriptions. This role directly contributes to the overall revenue goals of the organization by establishing a scalable and high-velocity sales engine in the critical SMB market. You will be instrumental in ensuring market penetration, providing the company with vital, real-time feedback on product-market fit for this segment. The team is a fast-moving, performance-driven group reporting to the Sales Team Lead for SMB in London. You will collaborate closely with other Account Executives, your Team Lead for strategic guidance.
Job Responsibility:
Quickly qualify inbound leads and build additional pipelines through proactive outbound outreach across all selling channels
Run efficient discovery calls to understand customer music needs and budget, delivering clear and concise product pitches
Successfully negotiate terms, handle objections, work with cadences and sequencing tools to drive volume consistently, with a target of closing at least two deals per week
Maintain impeccable CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting, working with cadences and sequencing tools to drive volume
Share market and customer insights with your Team Lead to help refine the SMB offering and stay ahead of competitive trends
Requirements:
1–3 years of full-cycle B2B sales experience, ideally in a high-velocity SaaS or media tech environment
Proven success in high-velocity, transactional sales with a track record of consistent target achievement
Strong, structured communicator who is comfortable running both inbound and outbound sales motions
Proficiency in maintaining accurate forecasting and CRM management (e.g., Salesforce)
Nice to have:
Familiarity with creator-economy workflows (YouTube, TikTok, Paid Social)
Experience selling to marketing teams, content teams, or small business owners
