Job Description:

Goody is looking for a driven SMB Account Executive to help fuel new business growth across our small and very small business segments. In this role, you’ll convert inbound interest, generate pipeline, and close new logos, while also owning outbound prospecting within defined SMB segments. You’ll be on the front lines introducing prospective customers to Goody, clearly articulating our value, and guiding them to their first successful send. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, is motivated by clear goals, and is excited to help build and scale a repeatable go-to-market motion in a high-velocity sales org. We’re a fully remote team, so strong communication, thoughtful time management, and the ability to build trust and camaraderie in a virtual environment are essential. You’ll report to the Sales Manager and collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to deliver an exceptional experience for every new prospect. This role is open to candidates authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own the full sales cycle for SMB customers, from inbound lead qualification through close, while also outbounding to generate net-new pipeline
  • Lead consultative, solution-based sales conversations over Zoom to understand small business gifting needs and clearly position Goody’s value
  • Convert warm inbound leads by responding quickly, nurturing early-stage buyers, and driving deals to close
  • Run product demos, follow up with tailored recommendations, and guide prospects to their first successful send on Goody
  • Partner closely with Customer Success and Customer Support to ensure a smooth post-sale handoff and strong onboarding experience
  • Collaborate with Project Managers pre- and post-sale to move custom and swag deals forward, align on timelines, and work with customers to finalize product details
  • Surface trends, buyer feedback, and common objections to help inform Marketing and Product
  • Accurately track activity, pipeline, forecasting, and deal progress in Salesforce and Gong
  • Follow established sales processes while contributing ideas to improve and evolve our SMB sales playbook
  • Represent Goody with professionalism, energy, and a strong commitment to delivering value in every customer interaction

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in B2B SaaS, ecommerce, or a high-velocity transactional sales environment
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota in a high-volume sales role
  • Comfortable owning a pipeline, managing a high number of leads, and driving deals from first touch to close across both inbound and outbound motions
  • Strong collaborator who can work cross-functionally and communicate clearly and promptly (written and verbal) to keep deals moving and deadlines on track
  • Able to build trust quickly with SMB buyers through professional, thoughtful communication via Zoom and email
  • Familiarity with CRMs like Salesforce and sales intelligence and engagement tools like Gong, Apollo, Outreach, or similar
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated in a remote work environment

Nice to have:

Startup and e-commerce experience is a plus, we value scrappiness, initiative, and the ability to figure things out

What we offer:
  • 100% remote work
  • Group medical, dental, and vision coverage insurance (with opt-out benefits)
  • 401k
  • Stock options
  • Open PTO, with a company-wide summer break designed to counterbalance the demands of the year-end holiday season
  • Paid parental leave benefits
  • Annual company offsite – past locations include Cabo, San Diego, and Banff
  • $100/month reimbursement for wellness
  • $500 annual education stipend
  • Lots of Goodys!
