We are looking for a Smart Manufacturing & Industry 4.0 Solutions SME and Market Maker to play a critical leadership role in building and scaling our manufacturing transformation business across North America. This is a high-impact, growth-oriented role where you will: Shape industry solutions, Engage C-suite executives, Influence large-scale transformation deals, Drive measurable business outcomes for leading global manufacturers. You will serve as a thought leader and trusted advisor, translating emerging Industry 4.0 trends into tangible client value across: Connected & Smart Factories, Digital Supply Chain, Industrial IoT & Data Platforms, AI-driven Manufacturing Operations.
Job Responsibility
Define and scale industry-focused offerings, solutions, and GTM strategies aligned to market trends and priority accounts
Develop differentiated Industry 4.0 capabilities across smart manufacturing, supply chain, and digital enablement
Act as a market maker, identifying white space opportunities and driving new revenue streams
Lead strategic client conversations with senior business and technology leaders (VP, SVP, C-suite)
Drive proactive business development, pre-sales, and solutioning for large transformation programs
Partner closely with sales and account teams to shape and win complex deals
Build and expand a robust ecosystem of partners including hyperscalers, ISVs, and industrial technology providers
Collaborate across consulting, engineering, and technology practices to deliver end-to-end solutions
Stay at the forefront of manufacturing innovation, digital engineering, and Industry 4.0 trends
Represent NTT DATA in analyst briefings, client forums, and industry events
Contribute to white papers, POVs, and marketing initiatives
Establish NTT DATA as a recognized leader in Smart Manufacturing
Requirements
12+ years of experience in manufacturing, consulting, or digital transformation
5+ years of experience in Smart Manufacturing / Industry 4.0 initiatives
3+ years in pre-sales, solutioning, or consulting-led business development
Deep expertise in manufacturing operations and Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, data platforms, AI/analytics, digital twins, etc.)
Proven experience creating and scaling industry offerings and GTM strategies
Strong consultative mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technology-enabled outcomes
Demonstrated success influencing and closing large, complex deals
Experience working in or with global consulting / SI firms (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte, Cognizant, TCS, Capgemini, etc.)
Strong executive presence with the ability to engage and advise C-level stakeholders
Highly proactive, entrepreneurial, and comfortable operating in a market-building role
