JLL is seeking a dynamic Small Works Project Manager to join our Boeing account team. This P2-level position offers an exciting opportunity to manage capital improvement projects while working directly with one of the world's leading aerospace companies. The successful candidate will oversee smaller-scale projects with budgets typically under $50K, while maintaining the flexibility and expertise to manage larger initiatives up to $250K as business needs dictate.
Job Responsibility:
Manage end-to-end delivery of projects with budgets typically ranging from $1K to $50K, with capability to scale up to $250K projects when required
Develop comprehensive project plans including scope definition, timeline development, resource allocation, and risk assessment
Conduct bid leveling of qualified vendor proposals to ensure accurate cost comparisons and value optimization across procurement decisions
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including Boeing facilities teams, contractors, vendors, and internal JLL resources to ensure seamless project delivery
Utilize the Corrigo work order management system to track, manage, and report on all project activities and maintenance requests
Ensure accurate documentation of project progress, costs, and completion status while maintaining detailed records for compliance and reporting purposes
Collaborate closely with the Facilities Management team to prioritize work orders and align project execution with operational requirements
Serve as the primary point of contact between JLL and Boeing stakeholders for assigned projects
Facilitate regular project status meetings, provide clear and timely communication on project milestones, budget tracking, and any issues requiring escalation
Build and maintain strong working relationships with Boeing's facilities management team, ensuring alignment with their operational objectives and standards
Monitor project budgets throughout the lifecycle, ensuring adherence to approved spending limits while identifying opportunities for cost optimization
Prepare detailed budget reports, track actual costs against projections, and manage change orders when scope modifications are necessary
Work with procurement teams to obtain competitive pricing and ensure value delivery for all project expenditures
Ensure all projects meet Boeing's stringent quality standards and comply with relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress, verify compliance with specifications, and address any quality concerns promptly
Coordinate final inspections and project closeout activities to ensure complete stakeholder satisfaction
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or related field required
Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on project management experience in facilities, construction, or capital improvement projects
Previous experience supporting large corporate accounts or aerospace industry clients strongly preferred
Demonstrated proficiency with work order management systems, preferably Corrigo or similar platforms
Strong understanding of construction processes, facilities systems, and capital project delivery methodologies
Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent tools
Solid foundation in budget management, cost tracking, and financial reporting
Comprehensive understanding of facilities management principles and practices
Knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components
Familiarity with construction codes, safety regulations, and compliance requirements
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing cross-functional teams and external vendor relationships
Proven ability to influence and negotiate effectively
Sharp analytical skills with ability to quickly assess situations, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions
Strong attention to detail combined with strategic thinking capabilities
Experience in risk assessment and mitigation planning
