Job Responsibility

The installation and commissioning of Fire Alarm and associated equipment on client premises. Both new systems and additions to existing systems
To maintain a working knowledge of circuits and measuring devices and an understanding and respect of electrical circuits as well as undertaking training courses where necessary
Installation of cable management systems such as tray and trunking
Working within all Health and Safety guidelines, both site and company specific, to ensure the safety of yourself and those around you
Ensuring a clean working environment as well as respecting our clients’ premises at all times
To act as a Company Ambassador. You must be smart in appearance, pleasant in attitude and capable of communicating diplomatically to strengthen customer relationships
The safe and appropriate use of hand and powered tools when required
Any other duties commensurate with your position

Job Responsibility

Work with and under instruction from Security Administration Team Members, complying with work instructions, company policies and Health and Safety procedures
Maintain a working knowledge of circuits and measuring devices and an understanding and respect of electrical circuits as well as undertaking training courses where necessary
Install and commission new Security and associated systems as well as additions to existing systems
Maintain an accurate and high standard of Customer, Company and Personal paperwork
Any other duties commensurate with the role

Use of Apollo, Hochiki among other protocols
Emergency lighting, Disabled Refuge and Disabled Alarm systems
Previous experience in similar role, or installation and service experience would be advantageous
Sound knowledge of standards and regulations
The ability to interpret technical drawings
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organisational and communication skills
You will be conversant with various Fire and Life Safety systems
