If yes, come and join us! We are looking for an energetic, self-starter, and experienced person who will own end to end Small & Medium Enterprises and Channel (SME&C) ABS & Security Finance Director. WW SME&C Finance team is a group of finance professionals who analyze the Microsoft business models across countries, channels, and product groups on a daily basis. Our responsibilities range from financial analysis, transformational analysis, pricing & licensing analysis, investment analysis, and competitive analysis to forecasting, planning, and whitespace identification. We help business partners make strategic decisions through educating, driving and implementing financial thinking around revenue today and business models for the future. We drive thought leadership on how to measure success for our scale business in the Corporate Managed and SMB Business space.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing FP&A team, promoting accountability, inclusion, and psychological safety
  • Foster strong cross‑team collaboration across finance, sales finance, and corporate functions
  • Model Microsoft’s leadership principles by coaching talent and building future finance leaders
  • Lead end‑to‑end financial analysis across ABS, Copilot, and Security with an emphasis of analysis driving action ensuring alignment with SME&C priorities and GTM strategy
  • Translate business strategy into clear financial insights, scenarios, and recommendations for senior leadership
  • Assist in Risk & Opportunity analysis across Annual Budgeting, Forecast, Outlook, and other potential forward looking workstreams
  • Serve as a trusted finance partner to sales, GTM, and cross‑functional leaders, supporting Business Health, Revenue growth, Pipeline, and renewals (EA & CSP) performance
  • Provide actionable insights on pricing, new SKU (GTM), and resource allocation to inform executive decisions
  • Lead business case development for new initiatives and strategic changes
  • Parter with FP&A team to enable financial reporting, KPI frameworks, and business performance management for SME&C
  • Partner with Global Channel Sales and Partner organization to enable the right conversations and to be able to scale in SMB
  • Articulate business health and forward looking signals across Senior Leadership team during ME close
  • Lead and influence finance transformation efforts, including systems, tools, and process improvements (e.g., financial systems implementation, BI, and Copilot‑enabled finance workflows)
  • Establish strong financial controls, compliance practices, and governance while enabling speed and agility
  • Champion continuous improvement and simplification across all processes

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 10+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience
  • 1+ year(s) experience managing direct reports
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 12+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 15+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR equivalent experience
  • 3+ years experience managing direct reports
  • 5+ years experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles
  • 5+ years work experience in matrix-based organization
  • 5+ years work experience in the technology or software industry
