Job Description:

Lead and coordinate commercial and operational activities and skills across multiple functions (Sales, Customer Relations, Fulfilment, IKEA Food) in a small to mid-size Small Format Store by empowering a multi-skilled team, to deliver a strong retail foundation and outstanding omnichannel customer experience. This role ensures the efficient execution of daily operations, fosters a high-performing, collaborative and inclusive team culture, and drives sustainable growth by aligning local market relevance with the IKEA global strategies, values and goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Acknowledge local market specifics and lead the work of meeting customers' needs within our omni eco system to enable a smooth shopping experience and by providing inspiring home furnishing solutions and services
  • Lead and empower multiskilled team to promote and sell prioritized range and services connected to the commercial calendar through great customer meetings, sales steering, availability and influencing range presentation solutions
  • Secure effective, qualitative, and efficient daily operations within the assigned area of responsibility by contributing to customer satisfaction, goals and business standards achievement and if applicable, doing manager on duty service for the unit
  • Ensure compliance and safe work environment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace by ensuring adherence to IKEA's Code of Conduct, internal policies, and local legislation related to health, safety, business, and environmental standards
  • Take direct lead with identifying, recruiting, retaining, and developing the many talents in the assigned scope of responsibility to secure a diverse, high performing team that can execute its assigned responsibilities with confidence and secure the future succession
  • Drive daily sales and service execution based on customer needs and commercial priorities
  • Lead and support a multi-skilled team on the floor to secure availability, selling and service quality
  • Coordinate cross-functional work across sales, customer relations and fulfilment
  • Secure daily operational standards, safety and compliance
  • Recruit, develop and engage co-workers within assigned scope
  • Act as Manager on Duty when required
