Job Description:

This role leads a centralized and in-market team focused on deepening relationships with Business Banking customers (annual sales of $500K–$25MM) through exceptional sales, service and risk management. Responsibilities include team leadership, hiring, coaching, performance management, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and develop a team to meet business objectives
Enhance and grow business by increasing growth opportunities, market share and wallet share of customer's total financial service needs
Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
Lead team to effectively assess customer needs and provide solutions to meet business objectives
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and multiple level managers to ensure provision of full range of business product solutions
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Banking Relationship Management
Develop and guide a culture of talent development and performance
Accomplish management responsibilities including sourcing and hiring, coaching and feedback, performance management

Requirements:

8+ years of Small Business Banking Relationship Management leadership experience
4+ years of management or leadership experience
Knowledge and understanding of business banking: relationship management, acquisition, credit, deposits, treasury management, merchant service, foreign exchange and payroll services
Commercial credit or business credit underwriting experience
Knowledge and understanding of Small Business Lending Operations products and services
Must meet Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements for Loan Originator position
Must comply with financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards

Nice to have:

Proven leadership experience in Business Relationship Management and banking with strong track record of building and leading high performing teams
Experience with developing and executing business vision, strategies, and goals
Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
Demonstrated executive presence with ability to influence, engage, and communicate effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders
