Job Responsibility

  • Assisting the Director of Therapy Operations in the daily operations of the therapy team
  • Scheduling, orientation, training, and communication with the speech therapy staff and hospital departments
  • Providing direct care to patients
  • Building rewarding relationships by understanding each patient's physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery
  • Celebrating patient victories

Requirements

  • Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
  • Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
  • Minimum of three years of experience in speech therapy or leadership
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience
  • Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or specialty professional certifications preferred
