Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused, and attentive Slot Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring that their gaming experience is enjoyable, safe, and seamless. The Slot Attendant will assist with the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of slot machines, as well as provide support to guests with any questions or concerns they may have. The successful candidate will also be responsible for accurately counting and reconciling casino cash. The position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist guests with slot machines, ensuring they are operating correctly
  • Provide assistance to patrons with technical issues or machine malfunctions
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety of the slot areas
  • Promote the casino’s loyalty programs and services to guests
  • Accurately count and verify casino revenue, ensuring all money is properly accounted for
  • Assist with the secure transportation of funds from gaming areas
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to security protocols
  • Perform data entry and reconcile discrepancies
  • Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and efficiently
  • Provide information on casino services, promotions, and activities
  • Assist with the main telephone line, reservations, event booking inquiries, and other guest-related services

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • some college education is a plus
  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a casino environment preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and coworkers
  • Basic troubleshooting skills and the ability to address minor slot machine issues
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure or fast-paced situations
  • Knowledge of gaming regulations and casino operations is a plus
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Clear Criminal Record check required
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Capable of bending, lifting, and carrying up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to navigate a large casino floor and perform duties across multiple areas
