Slingers Wanted – Join BAE Systems on the Dreadnought & Astute Programme! Looking for your next long-term opportunity? Morson Talent is recruiting experienced Slingers/Riggers to work on behalf of BAE Systems at their world-renowned shipyard in Barrow-in-Furness, supporting the prestigious Dreadnought and Astute submarine programmes. 12-month contract with a strong chance of extension Immediate starts available (subject to security clearance)

Job Responsibility

  • Lifting and slinging loads safely
  • Working in confined spaces
  • Providing temporary protection solutions
  • Supporting production activities across the site
  • Preparing equipment, materials and consumables
  • Assisting with plant and equipment maintenance
  • General cleaning and housekeeping to company standards

Requirements

  • Marine or heavy industry experience
  • Rigging/Slinging experience
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality
