Job Description:

As a Slinger Driver, you’ll safely and efficiently operate a variety of aggregate trailers, including AZ, DZ, and Slingers. You’ll play a key role in delivering materials accurately and professionally to job sites throughout the region. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position based out of Owen Sound. With the possibility of overtime, no weekends.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operating equipment in a safe and professional manner
  • Performing daily maintenance inspections and reporting mechanical or safety concerns
  • Promoting and upholding a strong safety culture on every job site
  • Working responsibly to protect yourself, your team, and the public
  • Serving as a front-line representative of the company with customers and site supervisors

Requirements:

  • Valid AZ License required
  • Minimum 2 years of Slinger driving experience required
  • Experience operating aggregate trailers
  • Background in the road construction industry
  • Mechanical knowledge to identify and report equipment issues
  • Understanding of road construction materials, processes, and industry standards
