Job Description:

Cranswick Gourmet Sausage Co. (Lazenby's) is our fast-paced sausage facility located in Hull. Using only the best cuts of British pork, fresh herbs and spices, Cranswick are the UK's leading producer of gourmet sausages and burgers, supplying major retailers and foodservice outlets alike. A rare opportunity has come up for an enthusiastic, motivated and well organized person to lead the Sleeve Room team. Reporting in to the Production Manager, you will head the team in servicing the lines with the correct sleeves etc. prepared to the correct specification ensuring operational efficiencies are met. Shifts - 4 on 4 off nights. Hours - 18:00-06:00. Pay - £16.77 per hour.

Job Responsibility:

  • Organising staff to monitor and drive production to meet efficiency and yield standards
  • Minimising wastage of packaging and consumables
  • Ensuring all machines are clean, assembled and ready for start up
  • Ensuring team is working in accordance with H&S, food hygiene regulations and GMP
  • Ensuring team is following all Company procedures and policies
  • Ensuring team is fully trained and signed off on machines, tasks and documentation
  • Carry out routine testing
