Slaughter Operative - Fully Skilled

• Multi-skilled across tasks on the slaughter line to prepare the carcass
• Work towards the site objective of providing high quality products in a safe, efficient and hygienic environment
• Follow training in food safety to ensure high quality, food safe products are produced
• Ensure health and safety processes are maintained to create a safe working environment
• Use a knife or bladed machine to prepare the carcass
• Focus on completing tasks efficiently to reduce waste and downtime

• Previous Halal butchery and knife skills experience
• Must be a holder of current and valid slaughter licence
• Able to maintain concentration and consistently high standards in a fast paced food manufacturing environment
• Able to understand detailed training and follow guidance and instructions
• Food Safety Level 2 is desirable, but can be trained at site
