Job Description

Airbus India is deeply engaged on product development for its customers i.e. Airlines, MROs and aircraft leasing companies as well. These products are aimed at bringing in operational efficiency by optimizing various operations like maintenance operations, flight planning, ground handling etc. It involves deeply engaging with our customers, understanding their pain areas and coming up with innovative products developed with cutting edge technologies in Agile product development methodologies.

Job Responsibility

  • Performs the role of a Test Automation Engineer on Skywise suite of products
  • Closely Work with product owner and development team to define program increment and Iteration scope, giving key inputs to product owner in planning / prioritization from functional testing aspects
  • Supports the scrum master in setting up the definition of done and achieving overall built in quality
  • Documenting test plans, test designs, and test strategies
  • Analysis of requirements from the specifications
  • Define and write automation steps against the specification
  • Develop code to implement the automation steps
  • Execute the test automation on the required test infrastructure
  • Analyzing and generating test reports
  • Participates in Review of automation deliverables
  • Work with automation developers to realize the test automation for multiple features in parallel
  • Identify and retire technical risks through evaluations and feasibility
  • Identify and evaluate state of the art tools to continuously improve the test automation framework and process
  • Own up the environment setup

Requirements

  • Preferably have aviation background, and has willingness to learn
  • Expertise in End-to -End Automation Testing
  • Expert knowledge in Performance Testing and API Testing
  • Excellent experience in Test Automation tools like - Selenium, Selenium Web Driver, Cucumber, Jenkins pipeline and AWS Knowledge
  • Good experience in UFT
  • Hands-On knowledge in automation development, debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Develop/maintain high quality testing, configuration and release & deployment processes
  • Involved throughout the testing lifecycle, and reporting defects using the defined reporting process
  • Ensure efficient and effective use of testing tools and methodologies in order to reduce manual testing effort
