Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivational Regulatory Compliance expert to join our team to support and develop learners working in complex regulatory compliance-focused environments. This is a specialist role, ideal for someone who enjoys combining compliance expertise with teaching, mentoring and developing. As a Skills Coach with Babington, you will play a key role in coaching and mentoring learners working towards the successful and timely achievement of their learning programme, whilst creating and maintaining cohesive and communicative relationships with learners and employers. You will use your exceptional teaching and learning experience to provide blended academic and pastoral advice, guidance and support, ensuring a safe and conducive working environment, whilst delivering excellence to learners.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching, assessment and learner support in regulatory compliance qualifications
  • Provide in-depth coaching and mentoring support and advice throughout the learning journey and End Point Assessment through an effective use of coaching frameworks
  • Support learners to identify, assess, and manage risks, including non-compliance at organisational and individual levels
  • Establish and maintain professional working relationship with a diverse range of employers, ensuring that they are informed and part of the learning journey for their workforce
  • Champion a strong culture of compliance, reinforcing the importance of regulatory responsibilities across organisations
  • Promote and embed Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding, British Values, Prevent and Health and Safety to all learning sessions
  • Compile and maintain all learner documentation on the relevant e-portfolio system

Requirements

  • Experience in promoting the importance of compliance and their organisation’s role in supporting compliance
  • Knowledge of how to collect evidence and data related to non-compliance using available techniques, for example investigations, audits, inspections
  • Experience in assessing products and services, including any associated internal controls to ensure they meet legal, regulatory and organisational requirements
  • Grade A-C GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent
  • Level 3 Award in Education & Training (or equivalent) qualification
  • Level 3 Assessor qualification (CAVA/TAQA) would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of the Awarding Organisations, End Point Assessment and other regulatory arrangements
  • Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards and end-point assessment criteria
  • Experience managing learner caseloads and delivering against performance targets
  • Excellent communication, time management, and digital delivery skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting learners and helping them achieve their goals
