Job Description

As a Van Technician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing customer vehicles to the highest manufacturer and safety standards. You’ll be working with modern vehicles and the latest diagnostic technology in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vans and light commercial vehicles
  • Performing complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic diagnostics and repairs
  • Completing MOT testing (Class 4/5/7 where applicable)
  • Ensuring all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards
  • Working collaboratively with the workshop team to meet customer expectations

Requirements

  • Electric Vehicle (EV) trained
  • Air conditioning qualification (preferred)
  • A valid MOT Tester’s qualification (Class 4/5/7), or a willingness to undergo training
  • Strong capability in complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic diagnosis and repair
  • Previous franchised main dealer experience – ideally Fiat or other Stellantis brands
  • Master Technician level within a franchised dealer network (desirable)
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality

Nice to have

  • Air conditioning qualification (preferred)
  • Master Technician level within a franchised dealer network (desirable)
