Skilled Operator

• Ensure all aspects of manufacturing including assembly and testing are efficiently controlled and completed in required timescales
• Operate machinery when possessing necessary training/experience and take part in multi-skilling objective
• Maintain quality throughout manufacturing process
• Work efficiently managing non-productive time to avoid unnecessary costs
• Assist with factory maintenance programmes and maintain clean tidy work area
• Assist in packing stores and paint areas when necessary
• Travel to UK overseas and offshore installations to perform service/maintenance contracts
• Work reasonable overtime to meet company and customer requirements

• Strong industrial experience within a similar role and/or Time served apprentice
• A sound mechanical engineering background - HNC or Higher preferred (but not essential)
• Highly organised with excellent communication and time management skills
• HNC or Higher in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role
• Similar industry working environment is highly desirable
